20160522_143726Hi, I’m Lisa and I like running.

I haven’t always liked running, and still don’t always like running, but I like it more often than not now. It took a long time to get to that point!

I started this blog as a way of staying motivated while I was taking part in the 5×50 Challenge in 2014 (a challenge to “jog, log and blog” 5km every single day for 50 days).

I resurrected it in January 2015 after I set myself the challenge to run 1000 miles in 2015, running in at least one race/running event per month, and taking part in the 5×50 Challenge again, to help me reach that total. It was tough, but I did it! I ran it in aid of a suicide prevention charity called CALM, in memory of my Granddad, who died in January 2015 after taking his own life.

So what’s new for 2016? Well, 2016 is – finally, and somewhat inevitably, I think – THE YEAR OF THE MARATHON!!
